Navigating Legalized Marijuana and Beyond
The Operational Logistics

On-demand version now available

We’re shifting from policies and new laws to translating that information to actionable employment screening procedures.

Unlike a pure law-related seminar, we will focus on the technical aspects of marijuana drug testing, examining such issues as cut-off levels, specimen collection methods, types of tests, and the use of medical review officers. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, attendees will leave armed with a wide variety of suggestions with regard to whether to test, when to test, how to test, and how to handle positive tests for marijuana and how to respond to CBD oil use.

Here's a quick summary:
  • Mechanics of Drug Testing
  • Case Summaries
  • Criteria used for “reasonable suspicion testing"
  • When an employee dispute a positive test
  • How a company should apply policy
  • How GHRR/ESS process these types of screens
